Bridging the Gap | Legacy, Leadership & Showing Up With Intention
In this episode of 50 & Fine, I sit down with educator, activist, and leadership strategist Andre Brantleyfor a powerful conversation about generational responsibility, access to opportunity, and what it means to show up with intention as we move through life.
Andre has spent decades working at the intersection of education, leadership, and community impact. He is a former Director of Admissions at Young Harris College, Clark Atlanta University, and Georgia State University, and previously served as a Dual Enrollment Coordinator with West Georgia Technical College and a Career Counselor at Wiregrass Technical College. Prior to his work in education, he retired from CSX Transportation where he served as a manager and training instructor.
Today, Andre is the CEO and founder of BNB Strategy Group LLC, a speaker, education consultant, leadership coach, and mentor to many young Black students. He also hosts The Silent Partner Podcast, where he curates conversations designed to increase intellectual and working capital in both rural and urban communities.
Together we explore:
• What Andre is seeing on the front lines with today’s youth
• Why access truly changes outcomes for students and families
• The role of the Black man across generations
• Why history remains our greatest teacher
• The power of one voice and one vision to shift a life’s trajectory
• What it means to age with purpose and intention after 50

This conversation is about bridging the gap between generations—honoring what we’ve learned, sharing wisdom with those coming behind us, and understanding the responsibility we still carry to shape the future.
If you enjoy thoughtful conversations about life, relationships, culture, purpose, and thriving after 50, you’re in the right place.
